The locals were very friendly and welcoming, especialy in the "Star Inn" just across the road. The location was quiet and peaceful, but the coast and inland attractions were all within easy reach, and even the dog was made welcome.

A lovely home from from home, very well equipped cottage with the owner on hand to offer helpful advice, a good standard of accommodation. The children loved the swimming pool and tennis court, a great spacious cottage, and definitely dog friendly.

The property was very well fitted and the kitchen area was especially well equipped. Our initial idea was to use the cottage as a base for visiting, Whitby, Scarborough, Bridlington, Pickering, York....... but we found the premises so comfortable we spent more time in the cottage and surrounding area than we had originally planned!
